Winnie has to create a dinosaur for class. Her class will be creating a 3D diorama of sorts. Students can create their dinosaur using anything except playdoh or legos. Winnie chose to make a stuffed animal with Grandma. Mom's sewing skills are superb. She fixes anything you ask her to. Mom has sewn many an outfit including a wedding dress for a family friend. She has sewn our living room window coverings, pillow covers, blankets for each of the kids, dresses for Winnie and her doll, and much more. She holds on faithfully to her old Singer sewing machine shown here - a gift for her 1st year wedding anniversary (1970) - and it was purchased used! All the parts are metal, and it just keeps on ticking. Perhaps Winnie will follow in Mom's sewing footsteps.
